Empathy
Power without empathy is just violence — and we're not here to reproduce that.
In this space, we practice remembering the humanity of others — even those who might harm us. That doesn’t mean letting down our guard. It means staying grounded in reality and refusing to give in to fear, hatred, or dehumanization. We train to protect, not to punish.
In practice:
Recognizing that your training partner is a whole person, not just a target or test.
Learning to fight without losing your ability to care.
Talking about harm and conflict in a way that centers accountability, not vengeance.
Holding space for the humanity of those we oppose — because self-defense includes defending against the pull of hatred.
