Health and Safety
Your safety is everyone’s responsibility — and so is your recovery.
Training doesn’t mean grinding people into the floor. An injured or exhausted student is a liability to themselves and to others. We train hard, but we train smart — with long-term sustainability, consent, and care at the core.
In practice:
Tapping early and accepting taps without pressure.
Checking in before contact drills, especially with new or unfamiliar students.
Encouraging rest, proper warmups, and setting boundaries around pain.
Staying aware of your own physical and mental state — and taking responsibility for communicating your needs before they become risks.
